South Ribble SCAN Digital

Fully-funded support for South Ribble-based manufacturers delivered by the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre.

unlocking business growth

Scan Digital is a fully-funded support programme delivered by the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) for South Ribble-based manufacturers.

Interested manufacturers will go firstly through a diagnostic stage then selected businesses will go onto Phase Two.

Phase One: The AMRC will work with you to help assess your business needs and identify improvement opportunities through an initial onsite meeting, providing you with a diagnostic review and action plan. You will then have the chance to attend a series of workshops and visit AMRC North West’s smart factory facility, which will include a look at our state-of-the-art digital supply chain demonstrator.

Phase Two: Following the diagnostic review, a select number of businesses will then have the opportunity to work with the team of specialist engineers on a fully funded project to help them maximise the growth opportunities identified during the first phase.

Phase Two projects would typically look at innovation, digitalising operations and the adoption of advanced sustainable technologies, to drive change within the business.

Delivered by South Ribble Borough Council
