Apprenticeship Grant

Get help with sourcing and training apprentices.

12 FlyingStart

A £3,000 grant for employers in Lancashire who start an apprentice under the age of twenty-five, before October 2025.

The business must be located in Lancashire (excluding Blackburn with Darwen, and Blackpool) and be a small or medium enterprise (<£50m revenue and <250 employees). The business must not have recruited apprentices within the previous two years.

Every business that registers will get full advice and guidance about whether an apprentice would be suitable; which apprenticeship; the selection of a provider; likely costs; and funding available.

We can also help promote the vacancy and match with young people looking for opportunities in your sector.

The grant is funded by Lancashire County Council and is coordinated by The Lancashire Skills & Employment Hub.  With only 100 grants available, we recommend employers register their interest as soon as possible.

For further information, eligibility criteria, and to register your interest in this incentive, please complete the Lancashire County Council - Apprenticeship Incentive enquiry form or email: LancsSkillsHub@LancashireSkillsHub.co.uk
