The Scale to Thrive service has been brilliant. Everyone in the cohort has turns to share their insights and challenges during the team workshops. I then review what’s been suggested for Bamfords, consider the ideas presented and decide if I can implement them.
Our first Scale to Thrive cohort began in March with a unique launch event at Strawberry Fields Digital Hub, Chorley.
The event gave participants the chance to meet each other and gain insights from the Boost team. It included dicussions led by Richard Jeffery, national director of Scale to Thrive delivery partner GC Business and Mark Gibbons, Boost Access to Finance lead adviser, who shared advice on how businesses can tap into finance opportunities, from debt and equity to angel investment.
Antony Chesworth, founder of Preston-based ecommerce platform EKM, shared his insights on his own scaleup journey and attendees also heard from Scale to Thrive advisers Jonny Slater and Joe Twigg.
