Preston’s Innovation Ambassador, Shirah Bamber, is going to be based in Society1 on September 9th, from 10am – 5pm to chat about all things innovation, tech, digital, and cyber.

She is collecting views, sharing information, and gathering stories to help raise the profile of the sector and its businesses in the city – if you are doing something interesting in this space, Shirah wants to know! A bit of background: Shirah is a Director of Alma, an audience development consultancy in Preston, with extensive experience delivering communications, marketing, and engagement services across the public, private, and third sectors.

Previously Head of Policy and External Relations for Preston City Council, Shirah has a long-track record of leading and collaborating on high-profile projects in Preston and is passionate about the city. Shirah was recently commissioned to act as Innovation Ambassador for Preston, on behalf of Preston City Council. She is working closely with partners across the city to engage with the tech, digital, and cyber community, to raise the profile of this industry in Preston, and identify opportunities.
