October Freelancer Meet-Up

This is a regular meet up for Freelancers, home workers, solopreneurs and alike. It is aimed to provide the opportunity to meet and connect with other likeminded people working in a similar way.

• Do you feel like you want to meet some other freelancers? 
• Do you find working from home can feel make you feel isolated?
• Are you new to freelancing and would like to talk to others with experience?
• Are you looking to work with other freelancers and would like to connect with the local community?

These are all good reasons to come and join us.

The day will start with a relaxed coffee hour with informal conversations over a drink and pastries in our lovely social area. It will provide an opportunity to meet other people with similar experiences.

We will have a guest introductions spot, again super relaxed where our guest will introduce themselves and tell us a bit about themselves and what they do. There are no round the room intros and you don't have to present yourself. 

There are two ticket options:

• Freelancer Meet-Up Coffee Hour: 10am-11am for £5
• Freelancer Meet-Up and Society1 Coworking Day £16:
  • Following our Coffee Hour, included in the Meet-Up and Coworking Ticket, you'll have the opportunity to join us at Society1 for an afternoon of Coworking.
  • Bring your laptop, grab a desk and work with us for the rest of the day. Tickets include Coffee Hour and an afternoon of coworking 11am - 5pm. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in your afternoon work pass.

Society1 is an independent coworking space located in Preston City Centre. We offer hotdesking, dedicated desk space, meeting room rental, virtual offices, and events. When you arrive for an event at Society1 ring the buzzer near the front door to gain access then report to reception to get checked in. 

Getting there: Society1 is located on Cross Street, just off Winckley Square (PR1 3LT). It is easily accessible by bus and train. If you need to drive, public parking is available at Fishergate Shopping Centre or Avenham Public Car Park (closes at 8pm)
