New Employment Rights: Prepare your business for change

October 01, 2024

13:00 - 15:00

Burnley

Burnley Council | Burnley Business Week

We have a change in Government and as part of the Government’s manifesto a whole raft of changes are proposed to enhance workers rights and Trade Union power and which are expected to be implemented within the next  6- 12 months.

Some of the changes include delivering a genuine living wage, flexi-time contracts and hours, banning exploitive zero hours contracts and ending “fire and rehire” practices and increasing trade union power.

Change is coming and employers need to be ready for what this change means for business.

In our session we will cover:

  • When will Labour implement the changes?
  • What key changes are top of the list and what does this mean for employers/employees?
  • How can employers prepare ahead of the changes?

Delivered as part of Burnley Business Week by Napthens Solicitors – Oli McCann & Emma Christian
