In partnership with Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, we are delighted to bring you a unique opportunity to meet, and hear from, three award-winning entrepreneurs, and stars of the hit BBC series, Dragons Den.

Our speakers, all of whom secured investment to make their dreams come true when they pitched their business idea to five multimillionaire investors, are ready to share their stories with you, and fellow guests.

Speakers Include: Derry Green – Secret Garden Glamping Derry’s lockdown project for his family quickly turned into a lucrative business, earning him national accolades. His pitch was a roaring success in the den, earning him four offers from the dragons! See Derry’s Pitch, here.

Gemma Connolly – Scoff Paper Gemma Connolly is an entrepreneur and the founder of Scoff Paper. ‘Scoff’ claim to make the world’s first edible cards for dogs! See Gemma’s pitch, here.

This event is certainly one not to be missed for business owners, managers, and aspiring entrepreneurs. 

It’s a unique opportunity to find out what happens in ‘The Den’ and learn some tips on how to pitch your business in every-day situations to make the best impression… plus, there’ll be some behind the scenes stories. ‘How To Slay the Dragons’ takes place at Forrest Hills in Lancaster; set within 180 acres of spectacular woodland and beautiful Lancashire countryside.
