Boost

Calling all potential entrepreneurs in Hyndburn and those whose business is under three years old.

New business leaders often have important questions about pricing, brand positioning, and how to communicate their value effectively. Whether you need help determining the right price for your product or service, refining your marketing strategy, or improving your brand presence, this roundtable session is designed to support you.

The Flying Start team has created an interactive Q&A session, inspired by a "Dragon’s Den" format, where you will have the opportunity to pitch your business in front of multiple experienced, chartered advisers. These experts will offer critical feedback on pricing, market positioning, branding, and communications. This session is also an excellent chance to practice pitching your business and receive valuable insights from seasoned advisers. Bring along any specific questions you have, and the panel will provide tailored advice to help you move forward with confidence.

This roundtable session is delivered by Selnet, on behalf of Boost’s Flying Start service and is being presented by multiple Boost business advisers including Chris Trickett. Chris has consulted major brands such as Apple, Warner Brothers, and Harper Collins, and brings over a decade of experience advising on brand development, communication, and market penetration.

As Managing Director of an award-winning brand consultancy for over 12 years, he led high-profile campaigns and high-performing teams for household names. Known for his honest and direct approach, Chris provides expert advice that cuts through complexity to help businesses focus on what truly matters for growth. Currently, Chris delivers leadership masterclasses, directs business development for a regional charity, and specialises in guiding emerging businesses.

As a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and Flying Start Adviser, he offers a strategic, process-driven approach, providing actionable insights to enhance sustainability and commercial success for startups.
