This series of masterclasses is open to all individuals and businesses either considering the launch of a new business or have been trading less than three years, primarily in the Pendle area.
It provides the opportunity to gain crucial knowledge around business operations and obligations without the need of joining the Flying Start programme, while offering future one-to-one support and advice in addition to this information sharing and peer learning opportunity.
You will have an opportunity to develop practical skills, tools, and processes, which can be applied to launching and growing a small business. By focusing on development of skills and working practices, you will be able to achieve business growth with minimal financial outlays and build the resources required for strategic business planning and funding.

This masterclass is delivered by Selnet, on behalf of Boost’s Flying Start service and presented by Boost business adviser Daniel Fenton.
Daniel specialises in proposition development, customer engagement, leadership, sales and marketing. He also provides non-advised support funding and tax obligations for micro-SMEs and Startups across Lancashire and the North West, along with business planning and revenue generation advice.
Daniel is a qualified Master NLP Coach and Practitioner, Master Hypnosis Practitioner, and is an Associate of the Chartered Management Institute, currently working towards Chartered Business Adviser.
The Flying Start service is for early-stage businesses that have traded for less than three years, and aspiring individuals with a great business idea. It is aimed at leaders who have a bright and growing vision for their new business.
The service focusses on building business and financial acumen and the core skills to establish a new business and drive sustainable growth.
This service is available to businesses within the following partner local authority areas: Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Burnley Council, Chorley Council, Fylde Council, Hyndburn Borough Council, Pendle Borough Council, Preston City Council, South Ribble Borough Council, West Lancashire Borough Council and Wyre Council.
