September 11, 2024

18:00 - 20:30

Preston

Society1 Coworking Space

How can creatives strike the optimal balance between human creativity and AI-generated content?

This panel discussion, moderated by Mich Bondesio, will feature Mark Dunbavan, Matty Hall, with a third guest still tbc.

Live Work Create Live Work Create is a regular event series hosted by Society1. Each carefully crafted event features a panel discussion around an interesting topic, with our panel participants sharing their thoughts and experiences, to inspire further thought and conversation. In this discussion, we‘ll look at ideas for how creatives can use AI to enhance and elevate their own creative abilities and outputs.

We’ll also consider:

  • How we can harness AI as a valuable tool for amplifying our creative output rather than fearing it as a replacement for our human input.
  • Some recommended best practices for integrating AI tools seamlessly into a creative workflow
  • And more!

Meet our Panel: We have a great panel for the event, who all bring different experiences of working in creative and tech sectors.

  • Matty Hall, Co-Founder Sairo: Sairo blends strategy and delivery to develop creative solutions that combine human connection and spatial/immersive technology. Sairo works to deal with the digital disconnect between reality and the metaverse. They believe human experience has to be at the core of what we build to bridge the gap.
  • Mark Dunbarvan, Co-founder of Yoke Space: Principle software engineer working across technologies such as React, Vue using Craft CMS, Craft Commerce and Shopify. Mark builds sites and apps for a broad spectrum of clients.
  • 3rd speaker to be announced
  • Mich Bondesio, Founder of Bondesio C&C and Creating Cadence, will be the chair and moderator for the discussion. Mich is an author, podcaster, speaker, coach and consultant. She is also an Entrepreneur in Residence at UCLan. Mich’s work is centred around the relationship between creativity, productivity, technology and wellbeing. The future of work is a key focus for her, and she regularly uses AI-powered tools as part of her writing, coaching, and content creation activities.

The evening will start at 6pm. Refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity to meet and chat with other attendees before the panel discussion. Getting there: Society1 is located on Cross Street, just off Winckley Square (PR1 3LT).

It is easily accessible by bus and train. If you need to drive, public parking is available at Fishergate Shopping Centre or Avenham Public Car Park. The Avenham multi storey car park closes at 8pm, so as this event runs later we advise that you park in the open air one or on the streets around us.

Note: These events might be photographed and this content will be used in future marketing for Society1.
