Apprenticeship Filming Day

May 14, 2024

09:00 - 17:00

Preston

Shout Connect

The day aims to collect as much content as possible which we can use to support those wanting to know more about apprenticeships.

We have recently refreshed our apprenticeship pages on the Skills Hub website (https://www.lancashireskillshub.co.uk/apprenticeship-advice/) and would like to bring this "alive" with video content and spread it via our social media channels.

Throughout the day we’ll be looking to capture short-form content of:

  • Employers talking about their experiences employing/recruiting Apprentices
  • Apprentices talking about their experiences and how they secured their apprenticeship
  • A mixture of both Employers and Apprentices asking each other questions (Employer to Employer, Employer to Apprentice, Apprentice to Apprentice)
  • We are looking for your stars, those passionate about apprenticeships, and individuals confident in front of a camera.

We’ll assist with questions to open up conversations. This will support the Early Connect pilot we are running in Lancashire with the Department for Education and UCAS, aiming to support more eighteen-year-olds in their wish to secure an apprenticeship.

We’ll be running an open house throughout the day and would appreciate any time, and anyone you can spare – ideally one-hour minimum. If you are interested, and you can send somebody along, could you provide us with their name, and roughly what time we can expect them?

Once the content has been created, you are welcome to use this on your channels. We would REALLY appreciate your help and support with this – not only will this support apprenticeships as a career path, but it’ll also highlight your organisation's commitment to supporting apprentices.
