Lancashire women in business scoop 10 awards at EVAs 2022

EVAS Winners and sponsors 2022

Businesswomen from Lancashire businesses have won 10 awards at this year's Enterprise Vision Awards in Blackpool. The awards, which took place on Friday, September 23, celebrated women from across the North West who are leading the way in their industries or are building businesses.

The EVAs has a total of 18 categories which are judged on creativity, ethics, passion and commitment in addition to turnover. The Lancashire EVAs winners also included four women whose businesses have benefitted from Boost support during their growth journey.

The Lancashire winners are:

  • Best Business Winner - Jannicke Ive, A Family's Best Friend, Morecambe
  • New Business Winner - Joanna Hill, Sid Hill Transport, Thornton-Cleveleys
  • Professional Services Winners - Stacey Turner and Louise Myers, CG Professional, Chorley
  • Training and Coaching Winner - Dani Wallace, I Am The Queen Bee, Preston
  • Family Business Winner - Charlotte Knowles of Elektec Ltd, Darwen
  • Creative Industry Winner - Ciara Moriarty, The Performance Studios, Lancaster
  • Customer Service Winner - Sonya Carpenito, Bistro Italia, Poulton-Le-Fylde
  • Sustainable Business Winner - Celia Gaze Gaze, The Wellbeing Farm, Edgeworth
  • Employee of the Year Winner - Lisa Ross of BPRCVS, Burnley
  • Charity of the Year Winner - Kila Redfearn, Blue Skies Hospitals Fund, Blackpool

Two Zero’s Women Scaling Up programme creates over 50 jobs
Businesses who took part in two cohorts of Two Zero’s Women Scaling Up programme have since created a combined 56 jobs and increased turnover by a total of £14.1m, according to independent analysis.
