The Shared Value Business (TSVB) is a specialist Social Value consultancy. We work with both private and public sector organisations to clarify Social Value and create appropriate systems and processes.
What is Social Value?
Social Value is how any organisation can work to deliver wider social and environmental benefit. It’s not an add on – it’s the way you do business, and it’s becoming a critical issue for public and private organisations, for both winning work and delivering cost savings.
From 1st January 2021 Central Government procurement functions were required to embed Social Value activity within all contract activity above OJEU thresholds. Many local authorities are now embedding Social Value within contracts from £50,000.
What this means is if your organisation works within supply chains driven by central government, you’ll see a minimum 10% Social Value weighting applied within tender documentation.
