Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing

Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing was founded in 2019 by Lee Chambers MSc MBPsS. After a diverse career, including working within corporate finance, local government and elite sports, and having founded a successful video game business, Lee lost the ability to walk. This shift in health triggered a decision to utilise years of professional qualifications in psychology, sleep and nutrition to create a company that fused both wellbeing and performance in business.

Essentialise delivers coaching, mentoring and training which fuses physical health, mental health and business health. We help Lancashire’s entrepreneurs and business owners, as well a SME teams, build awareness of how health can impact business outcomes and performance indicators, while delivering actionable strategies that can increase productivity, creativity, motivation and attention while reducing sickness, conflict, mistakes and stagnation.

Essentialise work across a number of areas of wellbeing and development, including sleep, nutrition, mindset, habits, resilience, mental health and stress awareness. Our mission is simple: to assist in helping Lancashire’s employers and employees develop their health, personal and professional potential to fuel the future of Lancashire’s businesses. We also design wellbeing strategies that can be measured, evolved and embedded within business processes.

What one top tip would you give to a business owner embarking on a growth plan?
The world we operate in is increasingly dynamic, and it is vital that we identify where as a business owner we bring the most value, so that we can look to leverage the skills of others where we bring less value, and find the necessary support from mentors and networks to continue developing the areas we identify as our high value contribution.
